The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Vigo, Owen, Sullivan, Greene, Knox, Daviess, and Lawrence counties in Indiana in effect from 5am to 9pm EST Thursday.
* MAIN IMPACT: ROADS MAY BECOME SLIPPERY DUE TO SNOW AND TRAVEL
MAY BECOME DIFFICULT.
* ACCUMULATIONS: 2 TO 4 INCHES IN THE ADVISORY AREA WITH THE
HIGHEST AMOUNTS SOUTH. ISOLATED 5 INCH AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
* TIMING: SNOW WILL BEGIN ACROSS WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE AREA AS
EARLY AS 1 TO 2 AM…OVERSPREADING THE AREA THEREAFTER. SNOW
WILL END LATE THURSDAY AFTERNOON INTO THE EARLY EVENING.
* OTHER IMPACTS: BOTH THE MORNING AND EVENING COMMUTES MAY BE
IMPACTED BY SLICK SNOW COVERED ROADS.
