The Illinois Republican Party is keeping up its media assault on Michael Madigan with less than a week to go before he faces reelection as Speaker of the Illinois House. The party’s released a new digital ad that highlights the major historical events that have happened during the 46 years that Madigan has been in the General Assembly. The ad calls on Democratic lawmakers to end what it calls 46 years of damage by Madigan on behalf of the corrupt Chicago machine. There’s been no comment from Madigan.
