We Spent $28 Billion on Gift Cards For Other People Last Year . . . and $11 Billion on Gift Cards For Ourselves

Do you ever buy yourself a gift card?  You know, because you just want to remind yourself how wonderful you are and the best way to express that is $25 to Applebee’s?

A new study found we spent a total of $46 billion on gift cards last year . . . and $11 billion of that was on gift cards for OURSELVES.

It also includes $28 billion in gift cards we bought for other people, and $7 billion that companies bought for employees.  (PR Newswire)
