A Freezing Rain Advisory will go in effect at 3pm today (Friday, January 13) until Noon on Sunday, January 15. The advisory is for Coles, Cumberland, Clark, Christian, Crawford, Clay, Douglas, Edgar, Effingham, Jasper, Moultrie, Richland and Shelby counties. The advisory also reaches over to the Springfield (IL) area and south to Metropolis.
Fayette county is under an Ice Storm Warning until Noon on Sunday, January 15. The Ice Storm Warning extends from Vandalia to St. Louis and includes most of Missouri.
If you are traveling north, there is a Winter Storm Watch that will go in effect tonight (Friday, January 13) at 6pm until Noon on Sunday, January 15. That includes Champaign, Bloomington, Lincoln and Peoria to name a few.
Additionally, a Freezing Rain Advisory will go in effect tonight (Friday, January 13) at 7pm (Eastern) until 1pm (Eastern) on Sunday, January 15, for our entire Indiana listening area. That Advisory includes Terre Haute, Vincennes, Indianapolis, Kokomo and Muncie.
