A Charleston man is in custody in connection with a burglary that occurred at the Culligan Water Conditioning building yesterday. According to the Charleston Police Department, 29-year-old Tyler Wehr was discovered inside the building and was arrested on a charge of burglary. Following an interview with Wehr, police say they are seeking additional charges in connection with a string of burglaries that happened in recent weeks, including break-ins at St. Charles Borromeo Church, Otterbein Church, First Christian Church, CTF, Embarras Area Water District, All-American Realty, and a vehicle on North 11th Street. The investigation into those incidents continues.
