Racing Legend A.J. Foyt Plans Stem Cell Treatment
(Avondale, AZ) — Four-time Indianapolis 500 winner A. J. Foyt says he plans to travel to Mexico for stem cell treatment. Foyt says he needs the treatment to repair his damaged ankles and shoulder from many crashes over the years. Besides his racing injuries, Foyt was injured after he was trapped under a bulldozer at his Texas ranch in 2007. Now, the former Daytona 500 winner says he’s looking for the “fountain of youth” and that’s why he’s headed to Mexico. The stem cell procedure that Foyt is set to undergo is not available in the U.S.
