CBS is negotiating with the cast of “The Big Bang Theory” to return for two more seasons, which would be the show’s 11th and 12th.
Everyone wants to make it happen . . . to the point where the five main cast members have agreed to take a PAY CUT so that Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch can get a raise.
The original stars Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar, and Simon Helberg are already making $1 million per episode EACH.
Mayim and Melissa were ‘only’ making $200,000 an episode, because they didn’t join the show until Season Three.
So the original five agreed to take $100,000 less each to free up $500,000 for Mayim and Melissa. If they split that evenly, they’ll be bumped up to $425,000 each, while the original cast will still be making $900,000 an episode.
