The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 10 AM CDT Thursday. * TEMPERATURE...Lows in the mid 20s tonight across southeast Illinois. Lows in the upper teens Tuesday night, and in the lower 20s on Wednesday night. * IMPACTS...Ornamental and fruit trees and flowers have already started to bloom, and will be very susceptible to a hard freeze the next three nights across southeast Illinois. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will damage or kill sensitive vegetation that has sprouted early.
