The Mattoon Public Library has added evening story time for parents and kids to the early morning session. It’s every Thursday at 5:30. They sing a few songs, read a story or two, and do crafts that pertain to the books. It all connects to the program “1,000 Books before Kindergarten.” Story time is open to the public, and library cards are not required.
