A Paris man was killed in a single vehicle accident yesterday in Champaign County. According to the Illinois State Police, 55-year-old Randy Leeman was northbound on IL 49 at 200 North when he failed to negotiate a curve and exited the right side of the roadway. After striking a ditch the vehicle became airborne and overturned multiple times. Leeman was flown to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. A passenger, 22-year-old Blake Wester, of Marshall, was taken to the hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. The crash is still under investigation by the Traffic Crash Reconstruction Officers and District 10 Patrol.
