Central Illinois McDonald’s owner/operators are committed to giving back to the communities in which their restaurants operate, and they recognize the importance of the local military officers who serve and protect our communities every day.
“Military officers are mentors to our young people, providing leadership and services to our local, regional, national and international communities,” said Blake Linders, local McDonald’s owner/operator. “We appreciate everything our local military officers do every day, and we want to show our appreciation by treating them to our newest menu addition, the Signature Crafted Recipes sandwiches.”
On May 20, active and veteran military officers can visit their local participating McDonald’s Restaurants of Central Illinois location, show their government-issued identification card, and receive one FREE Signature Crafted Recipes sandwich. The new sandwich platform offers three varieties to choose from: Pico Guacamole, Sweet Barbecue Bacon and Maple Bacon Dijon. Each sandwich variety can be customized with the choice of a protein — quarter-pound burger, crispy chicken or grilled chicken — and the choice of two different buns. The evolution to the Signature Crafted Sandwiches is a direct reflection of improving the customer experience based on what guests have told McDonald’s.
