The Lake Land College Center for Business and Industry will offer a non-credit course titled Understanding Dementia, on June 5th from 5:30–7 p.m. The class will be facilitated by Elizabeth Wells, manager of education & outreach, with the Alzheimer’s Association. Continuing education units will be offered to licensed dental hygienists, cosmetologists, estheticians, nail technicians, nurses, and massage therapists. However, this class is open to all community members, and there is no charge to attend. Register at lakelandcollege.edu.
