Junior American Legion Firecracker Classic Schedule: Friday, June 9

If you need a baseball fix this weekend, Mattoon has it.  The 10^th annual Junior American Legion Firecracker Classic gets underway at 9:00 this morning.  Charleston Gold takes on Decatur Black at Laker Field, and Shelby County faces Toledo at Grimes Field.  Charleston Red has back-to-back games with Moultrie-Douglas and Decatur Gold at Mattoon High School.  Charleston Gold’s second game is against Moline at 1:00.  Game two for Toledo is against Rantoul at 1:00 and Laker Field, Moultrie-Douglas returns for a 4:00 game at Mattoon High School against Danville Blue, and Mattoon caps off day one with games against Urbana and Odin, at Grimes Field at 5:00 and 7:00.
