Governor Rauner Says He Will Support Republican Budget Plan
(Springfield, IL) — Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner says he will sign the latest budget plan in Springfield if it reaches his desk. Republicans yesterday offered a budget that would raise income taxes and freeze property for four years. The plan builds on the Senate Democratic budget that passed last month. Governor Rauner says if lawmakers approve this plan, he will sign it.
