The Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site will be recognized as part of the National Heritage Area in a ceremony on Saturday June 17th at 3:00 pm. The Lincoln Log Cabin is chosen as one of the Heritage Area’s “gateway sites,” and will officially be added to a 42-county part of the state because of its connection to how the majority of Abraham Lincoln’s life took place in that area.
