Powerball And Mega Millions To Drop Illinois Due To Budget Crisis
(Undated) — The non-profit group that runs the Powerball lottery and Mega Millions games will drop Illinois at the end of the month. The Multi-State Lottery Association leaders are concerned that the state doesn’t have a budget. Illinois Lottery spokesman Jason Schaumburg says the action is “another example of why the General Assembly needs to deliver a balanced budget to the governor.”
