I’m not sure if this counts as good news, but here it is: The odds are, all those other IDIOTS on the road aren’t going to crash into you and kill you. The bad news is . . . you’re more likely to do it to yourself.
According to new data from Triple-A, 55% of the fatal car accidents in this country are single-driver crashes . . . in other words, a person who’s distracted, drunk, or loses control crashing into something like a pole.
But their study also found that 96% of us worry about some other idiot running a red light and hitting us . . . and 86% of us are worried about getting hit by someone who’s distracted.
