Julie Coe, of Ashmore, has announced her candidacy for the Republican nomination for Coles County Clerk. Julie has worked in the county clerk’s office under current Coles County Clerk Sue Rennels since 2013. Rennels announced earlier this week that she will not be running for re-election.
