A sentence was handed down in the fatal hit and run that occurred in Oakland in February. Danielle McConnell pleaded guilty to a charge of leaving the scene of an accident involving death or personal injury. She was sentenced to six months in jail and 2 ½ years probation. She was also ordered to pay $5,100 in restitution to cover funeral expenses for Michael Hoskinson, the Oakland man who died after being hit by her vehicle.
