Elton John To Retire After 3-Year World Farewell Tour
(New York, NY) — Elton John will retire from touring after his three-year “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour. The 70-year-old Hall of Fame musician made the official announcement today in New York. “Rolling Stone” quoted him as saying, “My priorities have changed. I have young children” at an emotional press conference. John added that he wants “to go out with a bang” by saying goodbye to his fans with a final world tour. The British music legend has sold more than 300-million records over his 50-year career.
