Neil Diamond Fans Donate Refunded Tour Ticket Money To Charities

(Undated) — Neil Diamond’s wife is reporting that thousands of fans are donating their refunded tour ticket money to Parkinson’s research and other charities. Diamond announced his retirement from touring this week after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. The veteran singer-songwriter himself responded to the news of his fans’ generosity by thanking them on Twitter for their outpouring of love and support. Diamond will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Recording Academy at the Grammy Awards this Sunday night in New York City.
