The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the following counties through 9:00 a.m. CST Thursday, February 21st:Champaign, Christian, Coles, Douglas, Edgar, Macon, Morgan, Moultire, Piatt, Sangamon, Scott, Shelby and Vermilion
We can expect mixed precipitation of snow, sleet, and or freezing rain, with ice accumulations of less than one tenth of an inch possible. The highest amounts are expected to be along southwest of Rushville to Taylorville line. Also plan on slippery road conditions and areas of possible low visibility at times.
