A Mattoon man was sentenced to four-years in prison after pleading guilty to threatening a public official and aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude police. The incidents occurred in 2016 when 29-year-old Garett Jones wrecked an ATV and later made the threat to a probation officer. He also pleaded guilty to DUI and was ordered to undergo treatment and pay fines and court costs.
