Waffle House Suspect Has History Of Red Flags
(Nashville, TN) — A Tennessee police report says the Waffle House shooting suspect thought he was being stalked by Taylor Swift. Twenty-nine-year-old Travis Reinking is accused of killing four people and wounding four others at a Nashville Waffle House early Sunday morning, reportedly using an AR-15-style assault rifle. Authorities say Reinking has a history of red flags and run-ins with the law. A 2016 police report says he thought his phone was hacked by the police, Taylor Swift and his family. The report says Reinking was put in protective custody after he was found in a CVS parking lot “delusional.” In 2017, he threatened an employee of his father’s company with an AR-15 rifle, and was later arrested by the Secret Service for entering a restricted area near the White House. Family members told police that he owned a lot of guns.
