Nintendo is having its biggest week since about 1985. First the whole “Pokemon Go” thing exploded. And now this . . .
They announced yesterday that they’re releasing a mini version of the original Nintendo Entertainment System. And it’ll come with 30 games built in . . . so you won’t have to blow on them to make them work.
A bunch of the games are classics, like “Tecmo Bowl” . . . “Punch-Out” . . . “The Legend of Zelda” . . . “Metroid” . . . “Excitebike” . . . “Donkey Kong” . . . and all three “Super Mario Brothers”.
They’re calling it the “N.E.S. Classic Edition”, and it looks exactly like the original, but it’s about half the size . . . comes with one controller . . . and only costs 60 BUCKS. So expect THAT to be one of the biggest sellers this Christmas.
You’ll be able to get it November 11th . . . so just in time for people to stampede over you on Black Friday.
By the way, anyone who bought a bunch of Nintendo stock last week is loving life right now. It was up 16% yesterday . . . and about SEVENTY-FIVE percent since“Pokemon Go” came out last Wednesday. (TheVerge.com)
