A 52-year-old guy named Kerry Johnson from Charleston, West Virginia went to a casino on Tuesday around 10:00 A.M., and sat down at a blackjack table. And by 3:00 P.M., he was down to his last $25.
So he left the $25 chip on the table to hold his seat while he ran out for a second . . . to ROB A BANK.
He popped into a bank down the street . . . told the teller he had a bomb and a weapon . . . and got some cash.
Then he went back to the casino, sat back down in the SAME seat, and started gambling with his new money.
But the cops quickly traced the robbery back to him, and arrested him later that night at his house. He’s facing 10 to 20 years in prison for felony bank robbery.
Didn’t this guy ever hear the Kenny Roger’s song “The Gambler”.
“You gotta know when to hold ’em, and know when to fold ’em.”
