According to a new survey by Autotrader, 66% of people say they keep their dog’s needs in mind when they go car shopping.
And 25% have actually changed the type of car they drive because of their dog. Usually that means upgrading to a larger car so there’s more room.
Here are a few more results from the survey . . .
- 77% say their dog likes car rides.
- 40% have gone on a car trip over 100 miles with their dog.
- Almost everyone says their dog has wound up on their lap at some point when they were driving.
- And finally, 24% have used their dog as a way to flirt with someone while they were in their car.
