Study: Red Wine, Chocolate, Bacon Possible Migraine Causes
(Undated) — A new study links chocolate, bacon and red wine to migraines. Researchers at UC-San Diego’s School of Medicine say foods high in nitrates can trigger the debilitating headaches. The study also found that nitrate-based medications prescribed for heart failure can also cause migraines. The latest study is published in the online journal “mSystems.”
