According to WANDTV online, a girl scout troop today is taking donations of plastic bags for their next project. This donation is taking place from 10 am until 2pm today, Oct. 29th, at 1301 East Mound Road in Decatur, IL for Girl Scout Troop #3274 to help earn their Silver Awards. They are taking the bags donated and are going to use as their project to crochet mats for the local homeless population. Nearly 600 bags are needed to make just one mat. Other businesses and organizations are already donating to this wonderful cause and so can you!
