A Newton man died after being struck by a van in Olney. According to the Illinois State Police, 48-year-old Timothy Eads was crossing Route 130 near Cherry Street, when he was hit by a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Annette King, of Olney. Eads was wearing dark, non-reflective clothing, and King said she did not see him.
