This Hazardous Weather Outlook from the National Weather Service is for portions of central Illinois, east central Illinois and southeast Illinois. It includes our entire Illinois listening area. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and early evening. Better chances of storms are expected later tonight. Severe potential appears low in eastern Illinois through tonight. However, locally heavy rain and dangerous lightning will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY... Scattered thunderstorms will be possible on Thursday. A few of the storms could produce hail and strong winds, as the cold front pushes through east central and southeast Illinois. Additional storms are forecast for Friday night into Saturday and Monday night into Tuesday.
