Friends, Family Remember Fallen Central Illinois Sailor
(Harristown, IL) — Friends and family members of Logan Palmer are finally able to mourn. The Navy late Sunday said divers found Palmer’s body. He’s one of a number of sailors who died on the USS John McCain after it hit an oil tanker in the waters near Singapore. Palmer’s pastor at Decatur’s Life Foursquare Church yesterday said Palmer will be remembered as a young man with a great sense of humor who was “a joy to be around.”
