The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 10 PM Saturday to 9 AM CDT Sunday. The Freeze Watch is no longer in effect.
* TEMPERATURE…Low temperatures will bottom out in the middle to upper 20s Saturday night, coldest west of a Peoria to Springfield line.
* IMPACTS…Any sensitive vegetation left outdoors will likely be killed by the cold temperatures.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
A Freeze Warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
