(Plano, TX) — Toyota plans to offer electric or hybrid versions of all of its cars and SUVs by 2025. Currently, Toyota does not offer purely electric vehicles, but it leads in Hybrid models which switch between an electric motor and a gas engine. The company’s executive vice president says Toyota all-electric vehicles will be first offered in China, then later offered in the U.S. and other countries. Toyota expects to sell five-and-a-half-million electric or hybrid vehicles by 2030.
