CDC: Illinois Among States With Widespread Flu Activity
(Springfield, IL) — Add Illinois to the list of states with widespread flu activity. The Centers for Disease Control on Friday said that Illinois is among 23 states which have been hit hard by the flu this season. Doctors say a flu shot can still help, even if the vaccine this year is a little less effective than in years past.
