Mets Offer 50-Cent Another Chance At Mound

(Queens, NY) — The New York Mets are pitching rapper 50 Cent another chance to redeem himself at the mound. Back in 2014, the rapper threw a ceremonial first pitch way outside, not even close to home plate grazing a cameraman. The rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, told “Newsday” this week during a promotion for his new movie that he would like another chance but wants to wait for a special occasion. The Mets tweeted to 50 Cent he’s invited to throw out a first pitch this season, with the hashtag, 50FirstPitch.
