E! Ending Investigation Into Ryan Seacrest Harassment
(Los Angeles, CA) — The E! network is ending its investigation into sexual harassment claims against Ryan Seacrest. In a statement yesterday, parent company NBC Universal says that there was not enough evidence to support the claims after they came out in November. Seacrest spoke out on the allegations at the time, saying that someone who worked as a wardrobe stylist at E! News nearly a decade ago said he acted inappropriately toward her. He continued to say that he disputes the reckless allegations and will cooperate with the investigation, but he takes pride in his work reputation and treats all of his colleagues, who have mostly been women, with dignity and respect.
