The National Weather Service has issued two Hazardous Weather Outlooks for our Illinois counties.
Here is the first one: This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Cass-Champaign-Christian-Coles-De Witt-Douglas-Edgar-Logan-Macon-Menard-Morgan-Moultrie-Piatt-Sangamon-Scott-Shelby and Vermilion counties.
DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT… Wind chills will remain between 5 below and 10 below zero through mid morning.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY…Periods of light snow are possible Saturday night through Sunday afternoon. Minor snow accumulations are possible. Some light freezing rain may occur on Sunday, but little icing is expected.
Another winter system will move across the area Monday night through Tuesday night. Accumulating snow is possible, although amounts remain highly uncertain.
Here is the second one: This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Clark-Clay-Crawford-Cumberland-Effingham-Jasper-Lawrence and Richland counties.
DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT… Wind chills will remain in the single digits below zero through mid morning.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY… Periods of light snow are possible Saturday night through early Sunday morning. Minor snow accumulations could occur, but periods of rain should reduce snow amounts.
Another winter system will move across the area Monday night through Tuesday night. Accumulating snow is possible, although amounts remain highly uncertain.
