There’s a new airline out of Japan called First Airlines, and they’re offering first class tickets for $56.
There’s just one catch . . . and it’s a BIG catch. The plane never takes off.
Yep . . . they’re an airline that’s offering the full flying experience, only you don’t go anywhere.
So for $56, you get to cram into a seat for several hours, eat airplane food, listen to the flight attendants’ safety instructions, and wear a VR headset that simulates take-off and landing.
WHY does this exist? According to the founder, quote, “For me, it’s difficult to have a trip because of the cost, like time and money. If I can easily access the airport and take a flight even though it’s virtual, I thought it would be cool.”
There’s no word on whether they’ve found any customers who agree.
