(Undated) — Rex Tillerson is out as Secretary of State. President Trump confirmed his departure this morning and tweeted that he would be replaced with CIA Director Mike Pompeo. The “Washington Post” reports Trump asked Tillerson to step down on Friday. The nation’s chief diplomat cut short his trip to Africa yesterday to return to Washington. As Pompeo moves from the CIA to State, Deputy CIA Director Gina Haspel is Trump’s choice to run the spy agency.
