...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in Indiana... East Fork White River...Wabash River...White River... .Significant flooding will continue in southwestern Indiana this week. Flooding may be exacerbated by rainfall coming Friday evening through Sunday morning, just as river levels in southwest Indiana are falling out of flood stage. Areal averages of rainfall south of Interstate 70 are predicted to be around 1 to 2 inches, with some locally higher amounts possible. As of Tuesday morning, all rivers have crested or nearly crested. Flood waters will continue to impact numerous state, county, and local roads, river parks, campgrounds, and other recreational activities near and on waterways, and agricultural land. Precautionary/Preparedness Actions... Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go another way. Keep children away from flooded areas.
