(New York, NY) — Jay-Z will have to appear in Manhattan Federal Court on May 15th. A judge has ordered the rap mogul to testify in a Securities and Exchange Commission fraud case. Investigators want to talk to Jay-Z about the sale of his Rocawear clothing brand to Iconix Brand Group. The rapper had previously disregarded two subpoenas in the case. His lawyers had said he’s too busy preparing for a world tour to spend an undetermined amount of time testifying. The judge refused to set a time limit for testimony. He said if he did set one, Jay-Z could attempt to waste time to run out the clock.
