No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash on I-57 near Mattoon yesterday. Illinois State Police say Timothy Jasman, of Fayetteville, Tennessee said he noticed too late that the traffic in his lane was going slow, and in an attempt to avoid a collision, swerved left, and truck’s trailer collided with a vehicle driven by Paul Goerner, of Chicago. Jasman was cited for failure to reduce speed.
