The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for our entire Illinois listening area.
For today and tonight: Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will develop late this morning and increase in coverage through tonight. While organized severe weather is not anticipated, a few of the storms this afternoon and evening will be capable of producing strong gusty winds, hail and heavy rainfall

Douglas, Edgar, Moultrie, Piatt, Vermilion and Champaign counties could see heavy rain starting tomorrow morning at the remnants of Tropical Storm Alberto track northward through the area.
Rainfall amounts of one to two inches are expected by Wednesday afternoon, with locally higher amounts possible.
Thunderstorms are possible throughout the area through Thursday, with additional storms expected on Saturday and Saturday night. Some of the stronger storms Thursday afternoon and evening may produce locally damaging winds and large hail.
