An armed stand-off with police in Dalton City ended at 11:05 this morning after a man gave himself up. The stand-off began around 6:00 a.m. when police responded to reports that a man was in a woman’s home and refused to leave. Officers said they heard sounds of a scuffle and then the woman ran outside. She said another man, believed to be her boyfriend, was left inside with the suspect, but was released a short time later. The suspect was taken to the Moultrie County Detention Center.
