Well this explains all the bad grades I used to get.
A new study out of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles found that pulling an all-nighter to study and cram for a test does more harm than good. You’re better off studying a little less and getting a good night’s sleep.
The researchers say it’s because the stuff you learn mostly gets committed into your memory when you’re sleeping . . . so if you don’t get enough sleep, you’re a lot less likely to remember what you studied. (New York Post)
