Beyoncé and Jay-Z shocked fans and the music industry on Saturday after they dropped a surprise album.
From Beyoncé rapping on songs more than before to Jay-Z expressing his disgust with this year’s Grammy Awards, the nine-track album, titled “Everything is Love,” covers many issues the couple has faced and also includes a shout out from their daughter Blue Ivy to her 1-year-old brother and sister, Rumi and Sir, according to the Associated Press.
At first the album could only be streamed on Tidal, which is owned in part by Jay-Z and Beyoncé and according to the The New York Times it is unknown whether it will be on Apple Music or Spotify. Also according to The New York Times, the album is being released by the artists’ labels, Parkwood and Roc Nation.
Songs on the album include: “Boss,” “Nice,” “Summer,” and “Lovehappy.”
