(Deerfield Beach, FL) — Rapper XXXTentacion is dead after being shot in the Miami area today. TMZ reports the 20-year-old was shot this afternoon while shopping for motorcycles in Deerfield Beach. The Broward Sheriff’s Office confirmed that a man had been shot just before 4 p.m., but did not release the name of the victim. Officials later tweeted that the man had died. The rapper, whose real name is Jahseh Onfroy, had earlier posted on Instagram that he was planning a charity event in Miami for the weekend.
