(New Brunswick, NJ) — Geoffrey, the Toys ‘R Us giraffe, has a new home. The giant fiberglass statue is moving from the Wayne headquarters of the bankrupt company to another spot in New Jersey. Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital in New Brunswick has room for Geoffrey the Giraffe and a generous board member has agreed to pay the six-thousand-dollars needed to move and reinstall the 16-foot tall statue. It’ll be placed in a prominent spot as a way to easy the stress and anxiety kids face when they need to visit the hospital. Geoffrey should be in place later this summer.
