(Los Angeles, CA) — It looks like superheroes are overtaking the dinosaurs at the box office as “Ant-Man and the Wasp” is this weekend’s top film in the U.S. and Canada. The Disney-Marvel picture is on track to earn 76-million-dollars in its first week in theaters. It’s also projected to rake in 85-million-bucks outside the U.S. and Canada. Coming in second is “Incredibles 2” followed by “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.” The dinosaur film has earned just over a billion dollars worldwide. Rounding out the Top Five are “The First Purge” and “Sicario: Day of the Soldado.” The documentary about Mister Rogers called “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” finished in ninth place.
